Alan Peterson OBE is a monumental figure in the world of business with over 30 years’ executive leadership experience in a number of roles for public and private equity-backed businesses across the UK, Europe and North America. He is currently chairman of HSS Hire Group and BBI Diagnostics Group and as the Chair of the NSPCC Cymru Appeal Board Alan, and his family, have raised well over £3m since 2016.
Alan is joined by Justin Albert, the Director of Wales for The National Trust. The National Trust is the largest volunteer conservation charity in Europe and is the largest landowner in Wales, protecting numerous castles and historic buildings, thousands of acres of wilderness and farmland, and 200 miles of Welsh coastline.

Justin Albert is Director of National Trust Wales; a role he has very happily held for eight years. With over 800 employees and 3,000 volunteers the National Trust is Wales largest conservation charity that proudly celebrates its core mission to look after special places for ever and for everyone. Notable achievements during his tenure have included the acquisitions of Parc Farm on the Great Orme, Ogwyn Cottage, Treleddyd Fawr, as well as taking on 50 year leases of Tredegar House and Dyffryn Gardens.
The National Trust Wales proudly embraces and celebrates all aspects of our wonderful Welsh Language, culture and heritage. Justin is also trustee of the Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies at the University of Wales, trustee of Michael Morpurgo’s Farms for City Children, and sits on the Welsh Government enterprise advisory board. Justin lives with his partner, Nancy, just outside Clyro in Powys surrounded by sheep, red kites and a rangy old tom cat.

Cardiff born and a product of Howardian Grammar school, Alan is a metallurgical engineering graduate of Loughborough University and is a Companion of the Chartered Management Institute.
Alan’s experience over the last 30 plus years includes leadership roles across the UK, Europe and North America. He has held the role of CEO or Chairman in a number of large manufacturing, industrial and retail companies including Meyer International plc (builders merchanting group), Rockware Group (glass & plastics packaging), Enterprise Group (outsourced blue collar services), Refresco BV (juice manufacturer), Azelis SA (chemicals) and Pattonair (international aerospace parts supplier)
He served 4 years as Industrialist in Residence - 3i Group plc.
Currently Chairman - HSS Hire Group plc (tool/equipment rental), and BBI Group (global point of care healthcare diagnostics group)
Chairman of the NSPCC Appeal Board in Wales & Vice President NSPCC UK Council Hon Colonel Army Cadets in Wales
Supporter of various charities/organizations including Velindre Cancer Care, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, Welsh Guards Charity & Loughborough University
