Speakers

Liverpool has a history for producing some of the countries finest comedy talent, and Jamie Sutherland can now be added to that fine list.

A headline act on the comedy circuit, working for some of the countries finest clubs including Sheffield Last Laugh, Jongleurs, and Comedy
Central. Jamie also provides pre match entertainment at Premiership clubs Stoke City and Wigan Athletic.
A very original act, who will keep you amused with gags, tales, and stories.  Jamie is a modern act, with many observational topics, and up to date material, and
don’t worry if you prefer a good old style gag, he has plenty of them thrown in, ensuring a performance that will touch everyone’s buttons.
Jamie is one of only a few comics that can tailor his performance to suit the audience, extremely popular with corporate clients, and he’s equally at home performing to crowds at his nearby club.
He can be seen regularly at Brinsop Comedy Club, Bolton, were he has been resident compere since Nov 2005, he has supported some of the biggest names in comedy, and has gained a reputation as one of the rising stars of comedy with the sell out crowds, and his fellow comedians.
Jamie has taken his show into Europe, entertaining the masses of holidaymakers, and in 2008 he stretched as far as Sydney, Australia.

Every year people do remarkable things to support our hospice - from learning to dance to cycling many miles in different countries. We only have a hospice in Wrexham thanks to the amazing community we serve with just 19% of our running costs received in statutory funding. Nightingale House cares for local people and their families affected by life-limiting illness, as well as children and young people experiencing bereavement. 2020 will see the 25th anniversary of Nightingale House on
Chester Road. The hospice is currently undergoing a modernisation to enable care to be delivered to more people going forward, with phase one day services completed and phase two, rehabilitation underway. Hospice day services also now offer outreach in Mold and Chirk Community Hospitals.
This year it will cost £3,140.383 to run Nightingale House, £8,604 every day. Every penny raised makes a difference. Thank you so much for your support of Nightingale House this evening and congratulations to our Vietnam to Cambodia
cyclists and our Strictly dancers. We really do appreciate all your efforts.
With best wishes, Debbie, Nightingale House

On Friday 6th December, 3 of our Wrexham Business Professional members we will be twirling out of their comfort zones with 7 brave amateurs and dancing in front of 320 people at Lion Quays Hotel near Oswestry. Richard Williams will be performing the Foxtrot, Louise Harper the Quickstep
and Ian Edwards the Charleston. None of them have danced before and have all spent the last 6 months rehearsing with their professional partners to try to get to a reasonably competent standard – the professional judges on the night will tell us whether they have been successful! They've been set a fundraising target of £1,000 each, which they'd love to exceed if they can, and so they'd be extremely grateful for
any donations this evening. On behalf of Richard, Louise and Ian, thank you.
